When Kids Earn Their Black Belt

Earning a Tulen Black Belt is a huge accomplishment.  A Black Belt test is a weekend long experience; demanding, challenging, transformative.  It is the culmination of years of dedicated training, a new beginning and truly a time of courage in its purest form.  We are inspired by the beauty of their movement and reminded that real strength has nothing to do with size and everything to do with heart.  When children and teens earn their Black Belt we see the future of Tulen unfolding.  These students have already accomplished something remarkable and they have only begun.  For Tulen practitioners, Black Belt is where we begin.
