Tulen Self-Defense Instructor Certification

One With Heart Tulen Center offers a two year self-defense instructor certification program. This program includes over 80 hours of education and a minimum of 72 hours supervised apprenticeship teaching. Instructors also receive 36 hours of continuing education annually.

All Tulen Self-Defense instructors have a background in martial arts and are accredited through our instructor training program. Our instructors have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of issues related to domestic and sexual violence, and are experts in teaching verbal and physical defense.
