TASPP (Transported After-School Poekoelan Program)
This program is Portland's premier after-school martial arts program for kids in 1st - 5th grade. Enrollment includes transportation to One With Heart Tulen Center, Monday through Friday. Kids participate in healthy activities including supervised homework time, and over an hour of Poekoelan training everyday! Download Brochure

Poekoelan Day Camps
When Portland Public Schools are OUT we are IN!  We have interactive and fun day camps for in-service days and holidays, along with week-long camps for Spring Break and summertime. Find all the details including upcoming camp dates and pricing at our online store

KiDS Kung-fu Summer Camps
Summer Camps now available through our web store!
Kids develop physical strength from the inside out with Kung Fu exercises designed to increase balance, coordination and focus, creating overall fitness for your child. They explore creative movement using the techniques of Poekoelan's four animal styles: monkey, tiger, crane and snake. Camp is for children ages 6-11 of all skill levels and abilities. We will have 6 weeks of summer camps! All camps will be held at Tulen Center One With Heart SE @ 4231 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Dates for the 2008 summer camps are:

Fire Dragons
Ongoing martial arts classes for kids ages 6-11. Evening and weekend classes available. Fire Dragons focus on Poekoelan basics, including four animal style movements, physical self-defense, and verbal self-defense. Each child is encouraged to reach his or her limitless potential.

Little Monkeys
Creative movement and play for kids ages 3 to 5 year olds. Kids learn balance, coordination, mental focus, and cooperation in a safe, fun environment. Kids discover the joy of martial arts movement from patient, expert instructors.

Poekoelan Birthday Party
2 hours of non-stop fun including Poekoelan martial arts training and games. Can be customized for any group. View details.

FREE Family Self Defense - If your child is a student at a school where we have scheduled a Free Family Self-Defense class, then you and your family are invited. The No! Go! Yell! Tell! program is a fun, dynamic and effective way of building self-defense skills. When we are teaching a class at your home school sign up and bring your friends and family.
