All of our certified instructors are united in a single goal - to guide you towards your original state of health and strength and, through that, your original state of joy.
In the Functional Fitness gym:
Adalia Corriveau
Having trained Western-style Boxing for the past seven years, I have also spent the last three years competing and coaching for the West Portland Boxing Team, where I am a certified amateur boxing coach. I love that boxing is "in the now", with movement and actions being my only thoughts. My fitness classes are high-energy workouts that focus on improving strength, quickness and general coordination, while learning fundamental kick/boxing skills.
Coach David Janusz
Certified in Strength and Conditioning, Track and Field and Yoga, I have been a coaching professional since 1997. My goal is to provide an educated and rounded approach to fitness. Blending physiology with my own experiences enables me to design creative and effective exercise programs. This approach treats the body as a whole; working muscle groups along with the core, simulating the many demands required by our fitness goals and our everyday lives.
John Almirall
Struggling with eating disorders and body image issues as a child, I believe in the power of physical transformation to bring fulfillment to lives. My philosophy is that emotional and spiritual well-being is rooted in fitness of the body. The focus of my program is to increase stability, core strength and neuromuscular efficiency. Students in my classes will benefit from improved joint stabilization, postural alignment, lean body mass composition and core strength.

Ariel Singer
Yoga for Mind/Body Balance & Yoga for Relaxation
After a lifetime of dancing, I began practicing yoga in 1999. I am a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor, and am currently pursuing additional teacher training at the Yoga Shala of Portland. Yoga is an art and science of self-knowledge, a holistic system designed to integrate the mind, the body, and the heart. My classes provide a space for stillness, gentle movement and relaxation for busy bodies and minds. I feel blessed and honored to share this exploration with my students.
Donna Bushnell & Janelle Fairwell
Yoga for Core Stability & Yoga for Alignment
Donna and Janelle have been teaching Yoga at One With Heart Tulen Center for six years, and are certified YogaFit International instructors (Level Three and Two respectively). In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Donna's outside interests include rebuilding and riding vintage motorcycles, as well as riding new motorcycles, with her husband. Janelle enjoys fishing, sailing and rebuilding boats with her husband.

Since the early 90's he has taught in a number of yoga teachers training programs both within and outside of Kundalini Yoga including the Masters Touch program in Espanola, NM. His classes emphasize strength, and especially abdominal strength, along with spinal flexibility and improved biomechanics to correct and avoid spinal injuries and other health concerns along with the link between health, physiology and state of consciousness.
Lauren Ingram
Yoga for All-Day Energy & Yoga for Purification
Lauren Ingram grew up in South Carolina and began her yogic journey in 2000 while studying theatre at The University of Mississippi. In 2007, Lauren attended Level I Power Vinyasa Teacher Training in Hawaii with Baron Baptiste and attended Level II in Montana. Lauren values all styles of yoga, but is partial to Power Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin. Lauren believes we can all tap into our true organic nature; we just need a guiding light and the proper tools to discover it within ourselves.
Robin Gumpert
Yoga for Health and Balance
Robin has been a mediator, a conflict-management coach and a process guide for seven years, and first became exposed to yoga in 2001 at an Iyengar studio. She has been a student at One With Heart since 2003. Robin is currently in her second year of a three-year long Iyengar-based teaching program at Portland Yoga Arts and continues to train and instruct at One With Heart.
